1. Introduction to the Design Project

The overall project is to create an interactive online digital resource that can be used for new education staff and make them interested in going 'Down the Garden Path to Becoming a Garden-Based Educator'. I love gardening and have a huge passion for understanding where our food comes from and the impacts farming has on the environment. Being an avid gardener, this project was exciting for me to create and I am looking forward to continuing to develop a final product that the IslandWood Garden Educators can use when teaching new graduate students and other teaching staff. I think having the resouce online and interactive will help peek more interest in the importance of garden education.

Creating interactive designs engages users by getting them involved in the learning process useing cognitive thinking skills.
